Why you chose your major

I picked Communication Studies because I heard it is a good major for people a lot of interests. I also chose it because it is highly employable with endless opportunities that can stem from it.

Favorite course

Right now I am taking Dark Side of Interpersonal Comm (Comm 471) and I can already tell it is going to be one of my favorite classes. It is so interesting to read and learn about the Dark side perspective. It is difficult to grasp some of the concepts but my professor is very willing to help us out and answer questions. I absolutely love it.

Research, education abroad, or internship experience

I currently intern at the attorney general's office for my public policy internship and I absolutely love it. I love the experience of being in school while also getting being in the work force.

Other involvement

I am on the Communication Studies Student Advisory Board. In this position, myself and a few other students work to share our love for the Comm major and all of the amazing opportunities that can come from it.

Why you chose Nebraska

I chose UNL because it was just far enough from my hometown while still being in Nebraska. It was also an affordable option for me with scholarships and financial aid.

Student Ambassadors group

Student Ambassadors are undergraduate students who talk to prospective students, parents, alumni, and the general public about the college.
