Why you chose your major
I have always enjoyed chemistry and biology and biochemistry as a major included both of those and it was a good major for being pre-health. I chose my communications minor because I thought it was valuable for any career path I might take.Favorite and/or most impactful course
My general chemistry classes made a big impact for me because it solidified for me that this is the major I want to be in and that I enjoy these types of courses.
Research or internship experience
I am a CNA and I do at home health care. I care for an elderly man and it has shown me that I am able to help people in need and that I enjoy being there for others and taking care of them when they need help. For me this shows me that I have chosen the correct career path for myself and I will be happy working in healthcare.Other involvement
I am in the sorority Alpha Phi, and I am a part of OASIS here on campus. I hold leadership position within my sorority.

I am from Lincoln and didn’t want to be far away from family and friends
